Mountain Goat Beer has been using the services of Furst Electrical since early 2012 when they approached us with their business plan. At the time we were looking for a reliable skilled electrician to help us grow the company. Since they came on board we have found the whole team led by Mark And Lee to have a level professionalism second to none. Their approach has always been no job is too hard, too big or too small, they are a ‘can do’ company. If and when we have a breakdown they are quick to respond and resolve the issues quickly and to full completion. One of our bigger projects with Furst Electrical was designing and installing a new tank farm temperature and pressure control system. Mark designed and installed a PLC controller that has given us perfect control and reliability for our fermentations, tank chilling and pressure monitoring. The system was installed with minimum fuss and downtime to our production schedule and well within budget. The design incorporated a large expansion factor for our growing business and will not need replacing anytime soon. The previous system was highly unreliable and needed constant replacements and maintenance, so the stress levels have gone down for everyone in the brewery knowing we don’t come in on a Monday facing regular potential problems.

Due to the complexity of the chemical industry, we chose Furst Electrical on their capability. The technical capability had to be across hazardous zoning, understanding chemical interactions and making sure all the infrastructure was in place to support that, including PLC programming and software upgrades. For us as an organization, it’s the first time we’ve embarked on such a complex infrastructure project. It was professional throughout. Everything operated in the first instance when we started it up. And we’ve been able to deliver the project, and make product on time to meet our customer demands.
