YARRA VALLEY WATER, MERNDA VICTORIA

In 2020, Yarra Valley Water invested in a new drinking water reservoir to meet growing demand in Melbourne’s rapidly expanding Northern suburbs. Working with mechanical engineers, Furst Electrical provided the electrical design, switchboard fabrication and installation and for the new 13.5ML circular water tank. The Scope of work included:

• Complete drawing package, including General arrangement Layout, Single Line Diagrams, Network Topology, Equipment selection, Circuit breaker sizing and data sheet, Cable and conduit and pit sizing and tank lighting circuit details
• 1 x +XA – custom marine grade aluminum control cubicle
• 1 x +XB – custom marine grade aluminum control cubicle
• 1 x Tank Monitoring cabinet
• 1 x Motorized valve cabinet
• Installation of motors, instrumentation, cable support system
• Underground pit and duct system
