Our team have the technical knowledge and skills to offer electrical engineering, fabrication and installation services fully traceable to ASNZS60079.14. This includes the specific requirements for the design, selection and erection of electrical installations in hazardous areas associated with explosive atmospheres.
Our expert team can provide electrical control systems for zones 0, 1 and 2 for gases, vapours and mists. And zones 20, 21 and 22 for combustible dusts. This includes:
- Electrical equipment selection appropriate for the Equipment Protection Level requirements (eg. intrinsically safe, flameproof, protection by enclosure etc)
- Control panel design, enclosure selection and installation
- Cable selection and installation including intrinsically safe marking system
- Cable entry system design and installation
- Earthing system design and installation
- Development of verification dossier incorporating conformity assessment documents of the electrical equipment and installation
