With $233M in online sales annually, Catch of the Day needed a smarter system for their warehousing and distribution business. The first of its kind in Australia, Catch group implemented an automated system – using robots to pick and pack goods.
Furst worked with Catch Group to fabricate 64 electrical control cubicles and undertake field installation, featuring:
- 8km of conveyor lines and field cables
- 445 x ethercat nodes
- 103 x power supplies
- 80 x e-stops
- 15 x encodes
- More than 500 SICK scanners and PE Cells
- 17 Variable Speed Drives
